About the Exhibition
99 Loop Gallery’s November ‘Curator's Focus’ features the work of Emma C. Aspeling and Karlien van Rooyen. Aspeling’s practice is intuitive and founded in the freedom of drawing while van Rooyen’s clay sculptures are inspired by her deep connection to the environment. In conversation with one another, Aspeling's expressive mixed-media works and van Rooyen's earthy sculptures create a curious dynamic of abstraction and form.
