Suidhoutfontein is a pictorial colosseum built upon moments of imagination, exuberance, and the artist’s idiosyncratic point of view. With impasto twists and twirls of paint and colours that burst forth from canvases, Southwood’s work explores the paradoxes and peculiar (sch)isms of the world around her.
