Presenting a range of engaging artworks, Untitled 8.99 brings together a selection of contemporary artistic talent. For some of the exhibiting artists, Untitled 8.99 marks their debut at 99 Loop, while for others, the exhibition is a return to a familiar space. Encompassing the entirety of the gallery, Untitled 8.99 embodies a coming-together of different mediums, styles, and messages. Untitled 8.99 includes new works by Benjamin Stanwix, Chris Denovan, Emma C. Aspeling, Gretchen van der Byl, Ilené Bothma, Mashudu Nevhutalu, Mia Darling, Oda Tungodden, Paul Wallington, Ravélle Pillay, Richard Ketley, Robert Hamblin, Rory Emmett, Selwyn Steyn, Sizwe Sama Sibisi, Stephen Allwright, Thebe Phetogo, Ulriche Jantjes, and Xanthe Sommers. The exhibition will also include available works by 99 Loop artists.
